i'm not perfect, and neither are you, but we're honestly perfect as we are. we'll grow and grow, as always and every day, and we'll be okay. for all the things i've said and all the things i haven't, and especially all the things i've done and all the things i should have, i hope you can understand. i'd say i'm sorry but i'm probably not, considering it was all said & done back then with reason (that might have only been fitting for me). i just hope you'll understand my imperfections and possibly realize your own. but if there was one thing i said and did and genuinely, constantly, always, every-day-meant-it.. it'd be that i love you. i love you so much. every time i said it, i was serious. i love you. i don't care about the awkward moments, stupid things said, how many times we got out of line with each other, or anything. just know that i love you. i don't care if you hate me. i still love you. i love who you were, who you are, who you aren't, who you could become, & who i know you'll become. i've got all the faith in the galaxy in you and your dreams and your faults and your hair and your pores and your toes and your teeth and your thoughts and your hands.. i love you, and i hope you can learn to love me too. after all, i am only human, which means i have faults & cracks & broken bits and pieces. so please, understand. and please, don't forget: i love you.

 i made this in honor of my feelings for my wonderful boyfriend eric. the mix i gave him had more songs, i got lazy when i was putting this together :P these are all very cheesy and nice songs though. :D really listen to the songs, someone special is surely to pop into your mind. p.s. watch the video for "first day of my life." by bright eyes. it always makes me tear up and smile.
